The Recruiting Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting recruitment activities for a large site or multiple sites while serving as a key resource and mentor to recruiters and recruitment sourcing specialists.

This role drives recruitment execution, promotes best practices, supports team development, and partners closely with hiring managers and HR teams to achieve staffing objectives.

The Recruiting Lead manages full-cycle recruiting for key positions, helps optimize recruitment processes and sourcing strategies, and serves as a subject matter expert to ensure an effective and consistent hiring experience across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and acquire qualified talent aligned with business needs.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support to recruiters and sourcing specialists to drive recruitment excellence and achieve hiring goals.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to develop effective sourcing channels, recruitment strategies, staffing reports, and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with regional and site HR teams to provide a seamless recruitment experience to internal customers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop customized sourcing and recruiting strategies.
  • Monitor recruiting performance and track key metrics to support monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and recruitment procedures.
  • Oversee applicant tracking system (ATS) activities to ensure candidates are properly tracked, documented, and dispositioned.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and professional networks to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Share recruiting best practices and provide ongoing coaching related to sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate engagement, and offer management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on recruitment processes, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Generate and maintain strong candidate pools across multiple business functions and levels.
  • Participate in recruitment projects, employer branding initiatives, and workforce planning activities as needed.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience supporting recruitment operations, processes, systems, and sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of recruiting best practices, candidate sourcing techniques, and talent market trends.
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting the development of recruiting team members preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive positive change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Experience serving as a team lead, mentor, subject matter expert, project lead, or providing guidance to recruiters is preferred.
  • Strong experience in sourcing, interviewing, recruiting, and full-cycle talent acquisition.
  • Experience working in high-volume and/or professional-level recruiting environments preferred.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders to develop effective recruiting solutions.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
