The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Tech Lead (Sanity CMS).

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, driving architecture decisions and leading engineering teams through complex technical initiatives.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Proven experience leading large-scale Sanity CMS migration projects, including content modeling, data mapping, transformation, and migration strategies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Sanity CMS in production environments, including content schemas, migration tooling, APIs, GROQ, content architecture, and successful end-to-end Sanity migration projects.Strong history of designing and implementing backend services and API-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Practical experience building and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
• Deep experience in modern JavaScript ecosystems, including React and/or Next.js.
• Solid understanding of headless CMS architectures and content delivery platforms.
• Track record of designing data migration solutions from legacy platforms to modern content management systems.
• Experience working with document-based databases and content-centric data structures.
• Proven experience implementing integrations between enterprise platforms and modern CMS solutions.
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows.
• Skilled at identifying technical risks, defining migration strategies, and ensuring data integrity throughout migration projects.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, content, and engineering teams.
• Nice to have experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise CMS platforms such as Contentful, Strapi, or WordPress (Sanity experience remains strictly preferred/required).
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
