Job Purpose
Proposed Work Develop related products and components that are part of the engine management system, whether for local or foreign customers/assemblers, involving the definition and capture of customer requirements for passing on to other teams involved in the project, evaluation of applicable standards and legislation, developing and defining the best products and ensuring the robustness and validation of the proposed system, aiming to put into production systems without failures, that meet applicable legislation and that have followed the development methodology and good practices established by the organization. Analyze customer requirements and work internally with other PHINIA teams so that the system requested (and purchased) by the customer is developed, following the established metrics and in accordance with applicable standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the PHINIA CTCM Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.

Job Purpose

Analyze customer requirements and work internally with other PHINIA teams so that the system requested (and purchased) by the customer is developed, following the established metrics and in accordance with applicable standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of the fuel injector and rail development team;
- Have a global market vision of trends, solutions, and suppliers;
- Plan, execute, and control the product development stages according to the project plan, ensuring deliverables within the required deadline and quality;
- Manufacture and validate products with the supplier and other internal areas involved;
- Be part of the multifunctional project development team;
- Be responsible for analyzing customer requirements for new project opportunities;
- Enable the assembly of alpha-level prototypes in demonstration vehicles with support for the calibration team;
- Technical support for production.
- Completed degree in electrical, electronic, mechatronic, mechanical, or production engineering;
- Advanced or fluent English;
- Experience in the automotive industry;
- Knowledge of product development;
- Experience in prototype assembly activities (production line, documentation, customer contact, etc.);
- Knowledge of Otto cycle engines;
- Analyze and propose solutions aimed at achieving cost, quality, and deadline objectives;
- Knowledge of Office suite;
- Knowledge of CAD.
