Overview

Duties for the Finance Manager will include supervising accounting staff, managing tax compliance, overseeing internal controls, monitoring expenditure, monitoring cash flow for our Latam Countries (Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia).

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The noteworthy finance manager should harmonize financial operations, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with the finance peers and central Group functions.

The role will report into the Global Group Finance Organization.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing accounting, treasury and tax functions
• Ensuring timely statutory reporting filings
• Ensuring compliance of local and group tax and accounting policies
• Operating in close cooperation with the Global Group Finance team
• Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk
• Analyzing complex financial data
• Managing internal controls, including ensuring timely completion of account reconciliations, in collaboration with the Global finance organization.
• Leading and developing a team of finance professionals covering Accounting (General Ledger; AP; AR), Treasury incl. Collections & Analysis and Tax
  
  

Requirements

• Academic degree in accounting or finance
• Extensive experience as Finance Manager/Controller in multijurisdictional company
• Broad knowledge of accounting principles
• Passion and good understanding for complex tax topics
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to create a result driven, team-oriented environment
• Excellent managerial skills; experience managing teams in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent written and communication skills both English and Spanish
